Donation and refund policy.

Use of donations

All donations to LABH Federation are used to fund its charitable activities — principally NEEV seed grants and the incubation programme — and to meet the operating costs required to run those activities responsibly. No part of the income of the federation is distributed to any member or director.

Refunds

Donations to LABH Federation are generally non-refundable. Once received and receipted, a donation is treated as accepted for the charitable purposes above.

Refunds will be considered only in limited circumstances — for example, a demonstrable error such as an incorrect amount charged, a duplicate transaction, or a payment made by a person other than the account holder. To request a refund on these grounds, write to neev@labhfederation.org within fifteen days of the transaction with a copy of the payment reference and an explanation. Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment instrument within ten to fifteen working days.

Receipts

An acknowledgement of every donation is issued by email at the time the payment is received.

LABH Federation's application for 80G approval is in progress. Once approval is granted, formal 80G receipts valid for tax deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 will be issued within seven working days of the receipt of each donation. Until then, donations do not qualify for tax deduction and receipts issued are acknowledgements only.

PAN

For donations above the threshold prescribed by law, we are required to record the donor's permanent account number (PAN). Providing PAN is voluntary otherwise. PAN is used solely to issue receipts and file statutory returns.

Anonymous donations

We accept anonymous donations only where permitted by law. Anonymous donations do not qualify for 80G receipts.

Foreign contributions

LABH Federation will accept foreign contributions only after and to the extent permitted by the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. Until such registration is obtained, we do not accept donations from foreign sources.
